The Graduate Diploma of Emotion Focused Therapy
The Graduate Diploma of Emotion Focused Therapy is a postgraduate course designed for experienced and qualified practitioners in counseling, social work, psychotherapy, psychology, health, and human services. It helps them develop their knowledge and skills in using Emotion Focused Therapy with individuals and couples facing various challenges.
Emotion Focused Therapy helps people process their experiences by using different therapeutic techniques to work with emotions at different levels, such as the body, thoughts, actions, feelings, and creative expression. The goal is to increase awareness and explore deep emotions that may be hidden. This process promotes emotional well-being and improves relationships. Students learn a wide range of interventions and a comprehensive model for understanding individual cases.
