Acupuncture & TCM
Acupuncture can assist individuals to manage a variety of symptoms including stress, pain, fatigue, and support other healing modalities. When acupuncture is conducted by a registered acupuncturist it is a very safe modality. Through ongoing education and training, the practitioners at Lotus Healing Arts remain up to date with the safest acupuncture practices.
Karen and Lauren utilise acupuncture in conjunction with other modalities such as Cupping, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Tui-Na (Massage), and Moxibustion. As acupuncture stimulates the release of endogenous opiate-like hormones, it brings about deep relaxation on a mental and physical level.
Cosmetic Acupuncture
The face reflects what is internally going on within the body. If your body is balanced and healthy on the inside, then your face will reflect this.
Facial renewal or rejuvenation acupuncture ‘changes the face of ageing’ and is appropriate for the skin of any type and/or age. Cosmetic acupuncture is gentle, non-invasive, and may refresh the face as well as the body. It stimulates blood flow and circulation, and this will be beneficial for facial lines, redness, puffiness, dryness, and sun damage.
Chinese Herbal Medicine
At Lotus Healing Arts Karen develops herbal prescriptions according to your individual or unique diagnoses, based on the results of your evaluation. They can be provided in either the raw form or can be prepared as a tea, granules to be dissolved in hot water, or pills.
